Here at Hi-Tech Hunting we use today’s mapping & GPS navigation technologies and smartphones to assist the hunter in the pursuit of his quarry. We can produce your custom digital map for use on your smartphone or tablet using multiple layers including ownership, trails, FS roads, water developments, fences , fire history, vegetation types, hunt unit boundaries etc., that can be georeferenced and used in real-time GPS using the free Avenza Maps app, even in areas with no cell service.

We can provide any map type you may need:

Digital and PDF Maps (Geo-referenced and can be used in Avenza Maps with real-time GPS on both droid and ios). These maps work on these platforms without cell service.
Posters maps (laminated if you want) and any size you want)
Map books (typically 11×17 inch, laminated or special waterproof paper)

We make posters too! This poster is a 17″x22″ at a scale perfect for the hunter scouting a new GMU. No unfolding and refolding a huge map just to see where access is etc. It also has overlayed layers such as roads, trails, springs, water improvements and the resolution is sufficient to understand the terrain. Oh, we customize each map to have as much map info as possible while maintaining a scale that is useful, and a copy can be on your phone for use in the Avenza app for real-time GPS!. You wont find advertisements and such on our maps.
